Gonna’ be a good day, for the Lord's with me.
He ain’t never leavin’, He said that's how it will be.
And though I have problems He's got them under control.
There ain't nothin’ gonna’ happen He don't already know.

Before there was time God had plans for my life
They are plans for good, for peace and not strife.
I know He watches me and keeps me in His sight
All throughout the day and all throughout the night.

God loves me so much, He adopted me
He calls me His own child; His own family
He has given me hope: it’s His Spirit in me
And a home up in heaven for eternity.

So … I'm deciding to trust my Father above
In His wonderful care and His great love
For though I am weak, I know He is strong
And He’s promised to keep me my whole life long
