from Psalm 94
Judge of the Earth
Lyrics
from Psalm 94
key: D
CCLI Song No. 7254470
Chorus
O Judge of the earth, robed in power and strength
Ruling in righteousness, justice and truth
You are the mighty rock where I find refuge
Your reign is holy forever
Verse 1
Rise up, O God. Let Your justice shine forth
Pay back the wicked for their evil deeds
They say, “God is not looking and He does not care.”
How long will they speak with such arrogance?
Verse 2
Who will protect me against evil men?
If God had not helped me, I'd surely be dead
If I say, "My foot is slipping," Your love holds me up.
Your comfort brings hope and cheer to my heart
Verse 3
Joyful are those whom You discipline, Lord
You give relief to them in troubled times
God will not abandon nor reject His own
The Lord is with those who trust in His name
