CCLI Song No. 7207556
Key: C

Verse 1
There is one thing I ask of the Lord,
the thing I seek the most:
to spend my days in the presence of the Lord,
fellowshipping with my God.

Refrain:
I just want to be close to You.
I just want to be close to You.
Do not let me stray far away from You
Father, draw me near.

Verse 2
For then when troubles come to me
the Lord will keep me safe.
He will shelter me in His secret place,
high upon The Solid Rock.

Tag:
Father, draw me near.
