Refrain
You are steadfast in love and faithful in mercy
I will give thanks to You.
You are steadfast in love and faithful in mercy
I will give thanks to You.

Verse 1
The waters are still and the pastures are green;
In contentedness I will lay down.
No evil I fear because You are here;
In Your presence my joy knows no bounds.

Repeat refrain

Verse 2
The night may seem long and the trial severe
But the Lord is our help and our shield
In His strong arms He holds
all the sheep of His fold
And guides those who willingly yield.

Repeat refrain

Verse 3
No matter how far from the Shepherd you stray
He will welcome you home.
He is near when you call, He lifts up those who fall
Jesus promised He'll never leave you alone.

Repeat refrain
