Lyrics

Chorus 1
"The Lord is great!" let us proclaim
and magnify His holy name
Come glorify the Lord with me
and sing with joy, play skillfully

Verse 1
The word of God is right and true
and we can trust all that He does
The Lord loves all things just and good
The earth is full of His great love

Verse 2
The heav'ns were made by God's command
He breathed the word, the stars were born
He set the bound'ries of the sea
and locks the ocean in His store

Chorus 2
So let the whole earth fear the Lord
Let all the people stand in awe
Let us worship and bow down
and kneel before the Lord our God

Verse 3
From high in heaven God looks around
and sees all people everywhere
He has shaped each person's heart
He knows all that is hidden there

Verse 4
The Lord saves those who trust in Him
He bids them in His shelter hide
He watches over those who fear Him
who upon His love rely

Ending
In the Lord we put our hope
He is our help and shield
Surround us with Your love, O Lord
To You alone our lives we yield
