In Loving Memory of Susan:  may we never grow deaf to the cries of the hurting.
CCLI Song No. 7203987
Key: C

Intro:
My sister died today.
I can’t believe
She’s gone away.
My sister died today.

Verse 1
I know God still has a plan for me
Of purpose and of hope
That is the reason I am able
With tragedy to cope.

Verse 2
It’s not God’s choice to take one’s life,
To die by one’s own hand.
Yet still it’s hard to fathom why,
So hard to understand.

Verse 3
I know it’s right, with God’s help
To reach out to those in pain
We may not see how we’ve helped;
Obey and do it again.

Pre-chorus
Why, God? Why - did my sister die?
You brought us out of darkness
Could she not see the light?
Why God? Why - did my sister die?

Chorus
It is not for you to know the why,
But to put your trust in Me.
I know the end from the beginning;
I see what you cannot see.
My precious child is with me now,
She’ll never know sorrow or pain
Or trials or trouble or heartache
Or anguish or hurt again.

Ending:
It is not for you to know the why,
But to put your trust in me.
