Nothing is too hard for Jesus; He can do whatever He wants. Jesus holds the keys of death and Hades ie the grave (Revelation 1:17,18). He raised the daughter of Jairus the synagogue ruler back to life (Luke 8:49-56). In the book of Acts, we see that Jesus continues to work through His servants. Through Peter, Jesus raised Dorcas, a friend of widows in Joppa (Acts 9:36-41).
He can work through believers today. 1 John 3 says that we know He hears us and so we know we have what we ask of Him, if it is His will. We are told to love each other with actions - that shows that we belong to God. And so we can come to God with confidence and receive from Him whatever we ask because we obey Him and do the things that please Him. Come boldly to His throne to receive mercy and grace when we need it most (Hebrews 4:16). What are you waiting for, Christian? Come to Him today.
