AKA When I Look at You
dedicated to Mrs. Jean Tudhope
I can see the Lord
When I look at you.
His tenderness is evident
In the little things you do.
I feel Jesus’ loving touch
When you reach out to me,
Caring as Jesus does
With compassion and sincerity.
I can hear Him laughing
At the stories that you tell.
And I listen with delight
As you share from His Word that you know so well.
I love to hear you talk to Him
And know you’re including me,
Asking Him to make me strong
And keep me from the enemy.
I thank the Lord for giving
Such a wonderful sister to me.
I am so very glad
That we are family.
I will ask the Lord
To keep you strong and pure
That through all life’s journey
Your love for Him will remain steadfast and sure.
I can see the Lord
When I look at you.
Note: Mrs. Tudhope passed away in 2014. She was an awesome counselor and a dear friend.
