AKA His Love Goes On and On
Inspired by the Psalms
Oh, give thanks to the Lord with me
for His love goes on and on.
Through all my troubles, You were with me.
You held me tight and kept me from falling over the edge,
from being destroyed.
My enemies had overpowered me.
They said, “She’s down for the count, she’ll never get up.
God doesn’t care. He doesn’t see.”
But You have blown the whistle on those wicked men
and side-lined those evil people.
You track down killers yet keep Your eye on me,
hearing every cry I make.
Sing with me praises to the Lord
that everyone will know what He has done.
Because of His unfailing love
He saves and rescues those who trust in Him.
The Lord our God is our refuge,
our peace in difficult times.
Truly the Lord is good,
His kindness is without end.
He will never give up on those who look to Him.
